Lucy Goose Takes a Walk in the Woods

Lucy Goose and Duckling marched around the barn.

“Hello, Pony. Hello, Pig,” said Lucy.

“Hello, Rooster. Hello, Donkey,” said Duckling.

Their friends nodded and smiled. Everyone was happy to see Lucy Goose and Duckling marching around.

“I like marching around the barn with you,” said Duckling.

“I like marching around with you, too,” said Lucy Goose.

Lucy Goose stopped marching. She turned around and looked at Duckling.

“Would you like to go on a new adventure with me?” asked Lucy.

“Oh, yes! Where are we going?” asked Duckling.

“We’re going on a hike in the woods!” said Lucy.

“The woods? I’ve never been to the woods,” said Duckling.
